Shawn Thornton S Suspension Appeal Doesn T Quite Make Him A Hypocrite
Nine days ago, the Boston Bruins winger apologized for slew-footing Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Brooks Orpik, then punching him in the face , twice and with a gloved hand, while Orpik's head was on the ice. Two days ago, he was suspended 15 games for that attack. Monday, he (and the NHLPA) decided to appeal said suspension.
